Design
Urban designers create places of practical and visual pleasure, including buildings, open spaces and countryside. Designers survey land and buildings, analyse their current use and make recommendations for their future development. Designers understand the needs of people who will be using the space you design; through research and analysis, you will consider political, environmental, social, economic, spatial, psychological and physical factors.
Surveyors allow accurate measurements to determine land boundaries. They provide data relevant to the form and contour of the Earth's surface for engineering, mapping and construction projects. Surveyors shall mark and chart the location of the legitimate property lines. Surveyors often use Geographic Information Systems (GIS)—a technology that allows surveyors to visually display spatial information as maps, records, and charts. They then use the findings to advise governments and companies about where to plan their houses, highways and landfills.
Exhibition designers plan, create, and manufacture physical displays for exhibitions in museums and similar institutions. They work closely with museum directors, educators, curators, and conservators to create educational displays that concentrate on collecting a museum while preserving the items on display in safe and secure environmental conditions.
A Brand Strategist discovers ways to upgrade the branding of a product or administration, as well as marketing plan through investigation of current market information and patterns. A Brand Strategist would need to be organized and meticulous to foresee future patterns and achievement of a product or service.
Food photographers design and capture stunning and tempting food images for magazines, cookbooks, promotional restaurants and websites. They collaborate with food stylists to give the food the attractiveness and aesthetic beauty it has to offer. They work hard to make their audience search for a dish with the enticing appearance, taste, aroma and texture of their food.
To communicate ideas and information visually, graphic designers use computers or hand-held tools to create posters, websites, logos, brochures, magazines and many other materials. Graphic designers communicate about layout and design with customers, creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for software such as photoshop, product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
Data visualisation requires displaying vast quantities of information in ways which can be understood universally or readily interpreted, and defining patterns, trends and connections. Data visualisation analysts use software and visualisation tools to communicate information for consumers or for their own company.
Cinematographers, also called Directors of Photography, collaborating with directors and production crews to produce major visual effects for film and TV. To create the atmosphere of the film, they read through screenplays and select suitable lighting, angles, framing, and philtres. Post-production processes often require cinematographers.
A fashion photographer works for or individually for fashion brands and showcases fashion products and markings in exciting and artistic ways. Fashion photographers generally work closely with fashion designers, fashion labels, and models. Art directors collaborate with art and design staff in publicity companies and books, magazines, and newsagents to develop designs and layouts. They often partner with theatre, television, or film producers and directors to supervise set designs. Their work requires them to recognize project design elements, encourage other innovative employees, and keep their projects budgetary on time.
