Engineering

Biomechanics is the application of the laws of physics and the principles used in engineering to the movement and mechanical operation of the human body. It assesses human anatomy concerning the forces exerted on it. The biomechanist analyses the impact of these forces on the body and works on realistic ways to enhance the efficiency of the body, be it an athletic accomplishment or injury prevention.

Automobile Engineers combine their technical knowledge, mechanical skills, and creative expertise and curate designs for the appearance and components of the vehicles. They are not bound by cars alone, but any form of wheeled transport.

Security Engineering incorporates operations of tools, methods and techniques to support the maintenance and development of systems that can resist malicious attacks that are intended to damage a computer-based system or its data.

The Renewable Energy Engineers work to create new means of extraction of energy and improve energy-efficient machinery to optimise the clean power potential of wind, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric energy sources.

A Biochemical Engineer is responsible for the development of new chemical products that can be used by a multitude of companies and individuals. Biochemical Engineers conduct studies on cells, proteins, viruses, or other biological substances to determine optimal conditions for growth or inhibitors that can stop or kill these organisms. They develop and conduct experiments to observe interactions of raw materials with each other and in specific environments.

Electrical engineers design, build and test electrical devices and equipment, including communication systems, power generators, motors and navigation systems, and electrical systems for automobiles and aircraft. They also oversee the manufacturing of certain instruments, systems and equipment.

Electronic Engineers use their skills to design, construct, test, and maintain electronic systems and components. They may be employed by small businesses or may be employed in the industrial sector. They design, schedule, conduct studies, inspect facilities, attend conferences, and communicate with others.

Aerospace Engineers plan, test, repair and modify commercial and military aircraft and spacecraft. Engineers specialising in aircraft are called aeronautical engineers. They shall review, establish, and improve manufacturing processes, facilities, and safety regulations.

Often known as Professional Communicators, Technical Writers develop articles and manuals to explain technical concepts in a way that is easier for end-users to understand. They adhere to the company's style guide and change obsolete or incorrect articles.

Automation Testing is a software testing methodology used to evaluate and compare the real result with the predicted outcome. This can be done by writing test scripts or using some test automation tool. Test automation is used to automate routine activities and other testing tasks that are difficult to perform manually.

Chemical Engineers use their knowledge of science and mathematics to develop methods and equipment used in the production of chemicals and to find solutions to the challenges faced by many industries. They evaluate processes and data, carry out research and testing, and develop plans to improve plant operations.

Structural engineers build structures that must withstand the stresses and pressures of human use and environmental conditions. They configure structures, select suitable building materials, inspect construction work and ensure the structural soundness of buildings and structures.

Food Technologists research, develop and oversee the production of food items. They may also work on existing or newly discovered ingredients and technologies to invent new recipes and concepts, as well as modifying foods to create new blends and tastes.

A Multimedia Animator creates animation and visual effects for television, movies, video games, and other media. They create two- and three-dimensional models and animation.

Textile Engineering consists of designing and managing all aspects of fabric, textile and apparel systems, fibre, garments and machinery. Textile engineers are involved in many areas of textile manufacturing, from process engineering, R&D, production management, technical sales, quality control and processes that manufacture all of these fibres, fabrics and yarns.

Data Engineering is an area of data science that focuses on the practical application of data processing and analysis. Data engineers concentrate on big data applications and harvesting. Their function does not involve much research or experimental design. Instead, they are out where the rubber meets the road (in case of self-driving vehicles), establishing interfaces and processes for flow and access to knowledge.

Marine engineering is a field of study which deals with the design, development, production and maintenance of equipment used at sea and onboard marine vessels such as ships, etc. A marine engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all major mechanical and engineering equipment.

IoT Engineers/Developers are professionals who can develop, manage, and monitor IoT devices and systems by combining three core components – data, technology, and research.

Biomedical Engineers are innovating and developing technology solutions for the medical field. Their key aim is to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care by developing medical devices, resources and applications for the operation of biomedical equipment that improves the quality of life and the functioning of the medical industry.

Mechatronics Engineers work on all aspects of the development of products, from design and testing right through to manufacture. Mechatronics Engineers create machines that are made up of several parts: the mechanical system, the sensing and actuation, the control systems, and the software.

Mechanical Engineers design, produce and test mechanical equipment, such as industrial machinery, heating, and cooling systems, transport systems, robotics, and tools.

Quality assurance (QA) is an automated method used to assess whether a product or service meets quality standards. Quality Assurance Professionals are responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and recommending steps to correct or improve the final goods and processes of the organisation to comply with existing quality standards.

The Scrum Master tends to oversee the scrum and production team. They know Agile methodology and scrum and are capable of training others. They also act as a buffer between the scrum team and the product owner and maintain a safe working environment for the team by helping to resolve conflicts.

Network Engineers are responsible for designing and managing the day-to-day operation of computer networks on which businesses and organisations depend. These networks typically include an intranet, an extranet, a local area network (LAN) and a wide area network (WAN).

A Front-End Developer is a web developer that codes the front end of a website. A Front-End Developer links together the world of design and technology, packaging up the utility of the back end in an inviting way for users to interact with.

Civil Engineers are responsible for the development, enhancement, and security of our immediate environment. They prepare and oversee the development and rehabilitation of highways, bridges, tunnels, railroads, dams, ports, power stations, and airports.

Automotive design is a unique field of engineering, creativity, corporate spirit and safety. A car designer is bound by cars and can be a designer for any form of wheeled transport. The task of an automotive designer is to curate vehicle designs, components and ergonomics.
