PLANS & PRICING
There are umpteen opportunities for a Chartered Accountant. Here is an illustrative point wise list :
Own practice/Consulting- Post qualification, one can either engage in a job or start his/her own practice. A number of fields open up when you lead from the front and you are the boss.
Stock Market- Strategic Financial Management is a subject in the curriculum and is taught at all levels of the course. Investing in the stock market, observing the bull and the bear sentiments, reading the financial statements of the companies and other nitty-gritty of the same comes easily to a CA.
Teaching- One can also teach CA students post qualification. Because of the intrinsic complexity of the course, a large number of students take classes for the curriculum. One can make a lot of money and also stay updated via teaching.
Startups- I feel that more than being a course or a degree, Chartered Accountancy is a way of life. It teaches you a variety of things since day one when you are induced to the course. A number of ideas strike you as you study in detail and your business wit enhances. A lot of CAs have given up jobs and joined the startup league.
Managing and taking forward family owned business - I know a number of CA friends who have taken their family owned businesses to a higher trajectory with their erudite knowledge.
