A Financial planning and analysis professional (also known as a FPnA/FP&A Professional), works closely with the CFO- Chief Financial Officer of an organization.
He/she has knowledge of the business and is able to identify the financial requirements of the business and presents it to the CFO.
The CFO in turn presents it to the board of directors of the company and engages with the board on detailed deliberations including taking suggestions and responding to their queries. He/she also brings in his domain knowledge to make the board understand the finer nuances of the budget and how it aligns with the company’s long term vision and objective.
