Make a list of your KPIs- Data speaks volumes. List down all your key performance indicators, your achievements and projects you contributed to. Highlight your role in the company to quantitatively show your dedication and hardwork.
Your value to the company- Highlight how you made an impact in the company, how well you have achieved your KPIs. For instance, talk about the amount of market share you have brought in, number of cases you have closed, investment or reach you have achieved and so on. The more numbers and data you can provide, the stronger your case will be.
Check your company’s policy to see what you can do. The policy would have recommendations or steps that you can take. Make sure you follow procedure and act professionally.
Sit down with your boss or HR representative and explain the situation. Ask them for an organisation start and request to see the pay slab for your designation. Outlining the value you have brought to the company, communicate that you expect fair compensation. And make sure to follow up after the conversation.
